Sydney (Only In The Airport)

Landed here a few hours ago, expecting my next flight to NZ in a few hours.

I haven't got much to say, Just wanted to post some pics and add some bla bla about them, but I'm unable to find a place which will help me accomplish that (at least not for free :) ).

But they got free Internet which is nice, so I can pass my time reading about maccabi,

I wanted to shave my head yesterday, and instead I got convinced to do dreadlocks... Yepz, dreadlocks.
I look really really ridicules :)

He left yesterday to bangkok (Flying home today...), Left me with this Gabi guy, luckily i'm leaving too in a few days.

Just wanted to say it was a great month travelling together, the closest experience i had to a married couple :)

One Month!

Has passed since we left Israel...

We're now in Koh-Tao, it's raining outside, but it's sunny on the inside (how poetic of me...).

Don't want to write so much, Just mention it as the first milestone (big word) in my journey :)

In a few days romano flies back to Israel, and I continue to the south pacific... I'll be more descriptive then.

No More Vietnam - Kopangan, Here We Come

After a long long journey (Two flight and a sleeping boat! We've decided to try and sleep in every transportation possible till the end of the trip) we've made it to kopangan.

But that's not all bad. We had 3 days of "Yea'arot hacarmel" with small digit degrees outside... Went from restaurant to coffee house, from coffee house to bakery, from bakery to massage, from massage to snooker, drink some, and than back to restaurant for breakfast...

Romano studied A LOT of card games! :)

טוב מזמן לא קיבלתם ממני מייל ארוך ומייגע וזה אומר רק שהפעם הוא יהיה עוד יותר ארוך ועוד יותר מייגע אבל בגלל שכולם מתגעגעים וכו... אני מניח שתוכלו לעמוד בזה (או הרבה יותר פשוט לדלג על זה...)

אני חושב שפעם אחרונה שכתבתי הייתה בהו-יאן אחרי הסתובבות בכפרים מסביב והחוויה על החוף (מתחרה ראוי לשעות המוצלחות עד כה...). בהו-יאן היה ממש כיף, חוץ מחוויית בקניות (אבל זה רק כי אני חרא של צרכן) אבל לפחות רוב המתנות כבר נקנו :)...
מהויאן נסענו להואה שזה עיר נחמדה אך טיפה משעממת לטעמי כי אין מה לעשות אני לא בן אדם של ארכיטקטורה והדבר היחיד שעשינו שם היה להסתובב בסיטדל שרוב בחלקים המעניינים שלו בשיקום, לאכול (זה כלל "עוגת אורז" שקשר בין זה לעוגה היה מקרי בהחלט), ולחכות לסליפינג-באס שלנו.

אז על הסליפינג-באס ארז פירט לא רע בבלוג ולכן אני אתקצר את זה במילה מקובלת לחלקים בטיול שלא היית רוצה לעבור שוב - ח ו ו י ה !!! (אני אישית העדפתי את הנסיעה באוטובוס על קטנוע...)

אחרי החוויה הגענו להנוי שזו עיר הבירה של הצפון והלכנו לנו ישירות לגסט האוס שחדרים בו משותפים עם מיטות קומתיים (ממש בחזרה לצבא) אבל העבירה די מגניבה. לא עשינו הרבה ביום הראשון שלנו בהנוי חוץ מלישון לטובת התעוששות מהנסיעה, לארגן את הטיול שלנו להלונג ביי וספה, לשתות בירה בערב ולהכיר כמה חברה נחמדים שכמובן היו מהסוג החנוני...

יום למחרת מסענו להלונג ביי בספינת תענוגות מסוג דלוקס שעלתה לנו 59$ ליומיים ולילה. הטיול לפחות אצלי הסתכם הרבה יותר בנופים שראינו ושייט קייקים עצל שלי ושל ארז מאשר באנשים שפגשנו כי איכשהו הצלחנו להתחבר לזוג ישראלי זקן יותר מאשר לחברה ירופאים צעירים שאיתם דווקא דיברנו הרבה יותר אחרי השייט :) אז התמונות יבואו בהמשך...
ביום השני של השייט הגענו שוב להנוי וקנינו לי פליז בשביל המזג האוויר בספה והעברנו כמה שעות בלקשקש עם אנשים עד לרכבת ללילה צפונה לכיוון לאו-קאי שמשם עוברים לספה ובקה.
רכבת לילה הזכירה לי בטירוף רכבות של רוסים (עד כמה שאני זוכר את זה). אולי אלה הרכבות שבהיאו לפה את הקלשניקובים בעת המלחמה :)

ועכשיו קצת חומר רקע על ספה ובקה. אלה כפרים בצפון וייטנאם (מאוד קרוב לגבול עם סין) האמורים לספק למטיילים נופים מדהימים מאוד מאוד ואנשים מאוד צבעוניים מחלק של קבוצות אתניות של וייטנאם (שיש כאן 54 כאלה).
לבקה הגענו ביום ראשון ישירות לשוק המטורף שלה שמתקיים רק פעם בשבוע שהיה שוק אותנטי ומאוד נחמד עד שהגענו לקטע שבו מכרו כל מיני חיות כגון כלבים, חזירים, באפלו וכו...למאכל וצרכים אחרים ו"תנו לחיות לחיות" בנו די הוריד את ההתלהבות מהשוק ומשם המשכנו לטיול קצר לכפר קטן אחר. זה היה טיול שסיפק לנו אחלה נופים ואחרי בליכה לא ארוכה במיוחד החלטנו לעלות על גבעה ולהתפנן לנו... בדרך חזרה עברנו ממש דרך הכפר ואפילו ישבהו עם וייטנאמי שלא ידע מילה באנגלית ושתינו איתו יין אורז או משהו כזה... ממש נחמדים בוייטנאמים האלה.
היום השני המשכנו לספה (אני סומך על ארז שהוא יפרט בהמשך את חויית הנסיעה) ונתקלנו בערפל כבד מהסוג שלא רואים ממטר. יומיים וחצי הבאים העברנו הלשבת בלאכול ולשבת במאפיה ולשחק משחקי קלפים כאלה ואחרים אם בחורה ישראלית בשם הילה שפגשנו שם. ארז והילה לימדו אותי הרבה משחקים חדשים (עד לטיול ידעתי רק את הדוראק של רוסים...)
כל הזמן יחלנו וציפינו לשינוי שלא הגיעה ועכשיו אני יושב לי באותו גסט האוס אחרי נסיעת לילה ברכבת וכותב לכם מייל ארוך ומייגע זה.

פרט נוסף חשוב: עד כה קראתי שלושה ספרים בטיול כולל הארי פוטר אחרון ובכך ניתן להחריז שזו תקופת קריאה הכי אינטנסיבית שלי אי פעם.

This time we did get on the sleeping bus!

We just weren't aware that the sleeping bus was a local bus...

Alternate Title:
Romano & Erez - Fell into tourist scam (Again!).

After:
- 6-7 hours spent in a bus from Hoi-an to Hue.
- 6 hours wandering around Hue citadel and forbidden city (It was hot as hell...).
- 2 hours of waiting for the sleeping bus, and eating some "Lonely Planet" recommended "Rice Cake" which didn't contain rice, nor was sweet (actually was very oily and not so tasty).

The sleeping bus arrived.

After 10 seconds, 12 Vietnamese were already in the bus, catching the best sits (beds).
After few minutes we joined them... still wandering how they can afford it (still wandering BTW).
It's not that we're snobbish (well we are, but it doesn't have anything to do with it),
all the tourist buses we've been on till now, contained mostly tourist (and some Vietnamese hitchhikers - most of them were 70 years old women, who doesn't mind peeing next to the bus when ur standing half a meter next to them...).

So we just wanted to be sure we are on the right bus. And we were on the right bus, only it was local bus, which after every 5 minutes of driving must stop aside and wait for 10 minutes so passengers can get in and out of it.

Enough! :) It was a not so fun ride, but it ended, and i don't have the power needed to continue blabbering about it, and why it was a scam... and it Was! Goddamn'em all!

It ended (Finally) when i woke up, hugged by a bit weird Vietnamese guy, who had a not so appealing scent.

We've spent the last few hours since we got here arranging ourselves a sail on a "Sfinat Tanogot" to a place called halong bay - Mucho money - should be really spoiling - sleeping night in the boat itself.

Afterwards a night Train (Woohoo) will take us to northern villages called sapa & baka, which are usually amazing, but apparently we are late (or early) in a few month to actually see smth. And ye, it's freezing there (zero... water freezes and stuff. Vegas all over again).

Arrived to Hoi An

It's 6:00 AM here, and we're just arrived after a long long ride.
Romano is already sleeping, but I'm waiting for some hot water, so this is my way to pass the time.

Apparently there is a thing called "Sleeping Bus".
In this "Sleeping Bus" There are sort of beds, instead of benches. Only 3 Beds in a raw, and two levels... Very quiet and comfort bus. Even met some nice ppl who were suppose to be on the "Sleeping Bus" :)

We were NOT on the sleeping bus! We didn't knew such a thing exists till we got in and then got kicked out to the regular bus.

But our regular bus was a special one:
- We had a big Motor Bike inserted in the middle of it (I used it to put my legs across :) )
- We had a drinking contest in the back, the contesters were a group of one man who drank 10-15 beers, and then bought a bottle of smth that look like gasoline in one of the stops. Finished it near the end of the trip.
- We had infinite number of stops picking up suspicious luggage, and dropping it off in other stop.
- We had very nice local Vietnamese guests :)

A hell of a ride, but thanks to me father "magic pills", me and romano made, and got here safe, sound and pretty much happy (dad - is it of to drink while taking this "magic pills"?)

מחכים לאוטובוס להו-יאן

אזהרה: הבלוג הבא כתוב בעברית. על כן, כל נושא הסוגריים, סימני קריאה, פסיקים ונקודות בסוף שורה מבלבל למדי. התנצלותי הכנה מראש. סססעמק - לפחות כתבתי משהו.

רק אתמול אחה"צ הגענו לנה-טראנג (עזבו אתכם מהשמות, לא באמת רלוונטי) עיירת חוף ותיירות, הספקנו לצאת ולשתות בלילה (כ"א שני באקטים), וכבר נוטשים.(הערת עורך - יש לשלב כאן תמונה בעתיד - באמת יפה כאן!).
כיוון שאין באמת הרבה מה לעשות כאן במהלך היום חוץ מלרבוץ על החוף ולקרוא ספר (ונעשה מספיק מזה באיים), נותר לנו רק לחכות לנסיעת הלילה להויאן (באמת לא משנה השם, באמת). עדיין לא בדקנו בלונלי בדיוק מה זה, אבל נדע יותר כשננטוש לעיר הבאה אחריה.

עד כה כיסינו את סייגון (בטח היה פוסט בנושא), מוי-נה (שם חגגנו את הסילבסטר במסיבה הכי טובה בעולם), ואת דאלאת (שקיבלה את כינוי החיבה - דאלאת אל כרמל).

דאלאת מזכירה את העיר המקומית, עד כדי האגם הענק שבמרכזה, המפלים שמסביב, כמויות הקטנועים, טוסטוסים ואופנועים הבלתי סבירות בעליל (שלא הזכרתי עד כה, אבל די מטורף, מה שקורה במדינה הזו) וכמות הויאטנמים... (דפקא שוק כן יש כאן, אבל בעיקר פירות ים ודברים דומים). אם הייתה לי סבלנות ויכולת לחבר כאן את המצלמה, הייתי מקבלים ויז'ואל מוצלח יותר :)

למי שמתכנן להגיע בעתיד לויאטנם (למשל אבאמא), דרך אטרקטיבית ועדיפה כנראה לטייל כאן (במקום אוטובוס תיירים לאורך ערי החוף) היא לשכור אופנוע (או רכב) ולטייל במרכז המדינה (אפשר גם לחבור למדריך צמוד אשר מסיע אותך על האופנוע מס' ימים - ניסינו זאת ליום אחד והיה ממש מוצלח - באוסטרליה אוציא רישיון לאופנוע).כל החוויה נראית ונשמעת (וגם נקראת מחוו"דים של אחרים) כמו חוויה מדהימה! (פעם הבאה...)

עד כה, טיול סבבה :) אפילו סבבה אגוזים! שנינו (רומנו ואנוכי) די לוקחים את הכול באיזי, עושים פה ושם טעויות (אבל לא טורחים ללמוד מהן, למשל, להגיע לאתר כשהוא סגור - בזה אנחנו הכי חזקים!)

כרגע לא ברור אם בכלל נספיק לעבור בלאוס (ע"ע ערך פעם הבאה), אבל כל יום התוכניות משתנות מחדש... אז זה לא כזה חשוב.

מתנצל על עודף המלל והקמצנות בתמונות, פעם הבאה רק תמונות ללא מלל בכלל.
